FIDEP Foundation seeks to empower communities, local media, and institutions by improving access to data, creating data-sharing tools and enabling decision-makers and development practitioners to work with evidence at the local level.

Policy Space: we promote bottom-up approaches to agenda setting, policy formulation, policy implementation and policy evaluation in a manner that allows local community voices to be taken into account.

Advocacy and Campaigning Space: we promote Community-Based Independent Reporting as a key means by which donors, ministries, government officials, NGOs, business community, academic community, the media and other development stakeholders can track environment and sustainable development policy with a high level of objectivity.

Research Space: We believe that evidence matters. We work with donors, government ministries and agencies, NGOs, business community, academic community, the media and other development stakeholders.
